MAA Foundation is the realization of a heartfelt vision set in motion by the late Mrs. Rashmi Sudhir Shetty. As the former wife of Mr. Sudhir Shankar Shetty, who tragically passed away from cancer in 2019, Mrs. Shetty’s dream was to create a platform that would serve the underprivileged and provide assistance in the areas of education and healthcare.

Mrs. Shetty was deeply moved by the struggles of the domestic workers who would come to her home, often sensing the hardships they faced. This empathy for their pain, combined with her own personal experiences, sparked her desire to contribute positively to society. Her determination to make a difference led to the founding of MAA Foundation—a beacon of hope for those in need.

Following her untimely passing, her husband, Mr. Sudhir Shankar Shetty, along with a group of dedicated friends and supporters, made the decision to continue her legacy. Together, they ensured that the mission of MAA Foundation carried on, bringing light to the lives of countless individuals.

Today, MAA Foundation continues its impactful work in the community, focusing on education and healthcare, uplifting those in need, and staying true to Mrs. Shetty’s original vision. The Foundation operates with full compliance to government regulations, offering donors the benefit of tax exemptions under 80G and 12A, ensuring that every contribution goes a long way in creating positive change.
